TROY — Dancing with the Miami Valley Stars was held Oct. 25. Professional dancing was offered to benefit the Miami Valley Veterans Museum Capital Campaign, to fund the new museum location at 2245 S. County Road 25-A, Troy.
The benefit performance was a night of professional dancing and dining at Romer’s Catering in Piqua. Cindy and Ronnie Mullins Dance Coordinators serve as organizers each year for Dancing with the Miami Valley Stars.
Winners of the 2020 event include:
First place and overall champion — Brenda Burns
Second place and overall champion — Kevin Royce

Competition dancers include Kim Buchanan, intake and governance specialist/systems analyst, Assurance; Mae Freeman, 20-year retired Army veteran; Carl Smith, US Marine, Vietnam; Gary Wooley, Vietnam veteran; Sarah Bay, Upper Valley Career Center and chaos coordinator; Brenda Burns, founding member MVVM, honorary senior state president, Ohio Society C.A.R.; Kevin Royce, Excel Sports Medicine; Cecil Teague, Vietnam/combat veteran/USMC/USN; and Pam Stader, retired Civ Air Force Research Laboratory.
The winners for the Erwin Jeep Renegade raffle were William Schmiesing with the Jeep or $20,000; Robert Baird won $1,200, and the Troy Fish and Game won $750.
