XENIA — The Troy boys soccer team kept pace with Tippecanoe and Butler atop the Miami Valley League Miami Division Tuesday, defeating Xenia 5-0 on the road to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Jon Hipolito and Gavin Marshall led the way for the Trojans with a pair of goals each, while Mitch Davis added one. Ben Estrada and Winston Walton each had an assist.
Troy hosts Fairborn Thursday on Senior Night.
PIQUA — Tippecanoe kept Piqua under fire all night Tuesday, pulling away for a 7-0 victory to make the Red Devils 3-0 on the year.
Evan Stonerock had two goals and an assist and Jackson Kleather had two goals to lead the Devils. Gavin Darner, Drew Harshbarger and Jake Smith each had a goal, while Jonny Baileys, Owen Hadden and John Miller each had an assist.
Tippecanoe hosts West Carrollton Thursday.

CINCINNATI — Troy Christian won its fourth straight to begin the season — and third by a 1-0 score — defeating Seven Hills 1-0 on the road Tuesday night.
Josh Brubaker scored the game’s lone goal for the Eagles (1-0), who host Graham Thursday.

SPRINGFIELD — Miami East fought hard at Springfield Catholic Central Tuesday night, battling all the way to a 2-1 victory.
Ethan Paulus scored on an assist from Trenton Maxson, and Logan McEldowney scored on an assist from Jayden Waddy for the Vikings.

CARLISLE — Milton-Union’s girls soccer team picked up its first win of the year Tuesday night, shutting out Carlisle on the road 6-0.
Ava Berberich had two goals to lead the Bulldogs (1-2, 1-1 Southwestern Buckeye League Buckeye Division), Rachel Jacobs had a goal and two assists, Madelyn Johnson had a goal and an assist, Kami Schatz and Morgan Grudich each scored a goal and Kenzi Everett and Delaney Hayes each had an assist.
Milton-Union travels to Preble Shawnee Thursday.
