Green Leaf Garden Club recognized for French Park Beautification Project

PIQUA — The Ohio Association of Garden Clubs recently presented the Green Leaf Garden Club (GLGC) of Piqua with a first place beautification award for GLGC’s French Park Beautification Project.

The first place award for the French Park Beautification Project was presented to Judy Quinter, president of GLGC, by Penny Adams, Region 5 director of the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs.

The garden site began to develop in 2016 and is maintained by GLGC. They hope all who travel the linear parkway will enjoy their contribution to the community.

GLGC welcomes new members and volunteers to care for the garden areas of Veterans Memorial, Rowan Park, Nicklin Avenue Eagle, and French Parks. Contact them at glgc45356@gmail.com to learn more.
