Legion offers meals

PIQUA — The American Legion Post 184, 301 W. Water St, will offer a lasagna dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, July 31.

The meal also will include salad and bread sticks.

Meals will be $8 each and will offer carry-out meals. All social distancing rules will be followed.

On Friday, Aug. 7, the post also will offer pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and a roll for $8 beginning at 5 p.m.

Carry-out also will be available and all social distancing rules will again be followed.

Road to remain closed

TROY — The intersection of Troy-Urbana Road and North Market Street will be closed to through traffic through 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, for continued work in road widening.

Volunteers sought

TIPP CITY — Volunteer opportunities are available now for the Tipp Monroe Community Services Lunch On Us (LOU) program. Volunteer opportunities are available through Aug. 28. LOU provides free lunches to children during the summer months at the United Methodist Church at 8 W. Main St., ) from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
