True Life services

TROY – Join True Life Community Church for the July sermon series, “Toxic,” with the message, “The nature of sin slowly poisons our lives. Jesus came to purify our lives and to free us from this bondage.”

The community is always welcome. TLC will open its doors this Sunday with its worship service starting at 10 a.m. You can also live stream this service on Facebook. The community is invited to join them as they stand together to worship their Savior.

First Lutheran services

TROY — First Lutheran Church of Troy invites the community to weekly worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m.

All are welcome. Organist is Barbara Decker, Nicole Reese serves as lector for the month of July. Pastor Holst presides and preaches the sermon: “We All Were There!” based on the Gospel according to Matthew the 11th chapter..

They are applying the rules of social distancing, including wearing masks, sanitizing, and spacing between the seats.

AA-Open Group will be held at 6 a.m. on Mondays, and AA- Men’s Group will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.

Rummage sale planned

TROY — Trinity Episcopal Church, 60 South Dorset Rd., Troy, is having a Rummage Sale with proceeds donated to the Torrence Medical Fund. The Torrence Fund is a ministry of Trinity that provides financial assistance to meet a legitimate but unaffordable medical need in conjunction with critical life skill counseling.

The sale will be held outside at the northwest side of the church on Friday and Saturday, July 3 and 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain date will be July 11 and 12.

Meals offered

PIQUA — Heart of Worship Outreach Ministries is offering free hot dogs in the park again this summer. Meals will include: hot dog, chips, and a drink. They will be at Pitsenbarger Park and Sports Complex by the pool and ball diamonds from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following Saturdays: July 11, Aug. 8, and Sept. 12.

Victory Church to hold Community Day

TIPP CITY — Victory Church, located at 4645 S. County Road 25-A, Tipp City, is holding its seventh annual Community Day celebration with fun for the whole family with games for kids, inflatables, and more. The event is free with events being held on July 16, July 18, and July 19.

The schedule of events for Thursday, July 16, include:

• Community Worship Service, during which prizes will be given away, 7-8 p.m.

• Kids games and inflatables, including an 18-foot water slide, bounce house, and more, 8-9 p.m.

The schedule of events for Saturday, July 18, include:

• Car Show Show, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Car Show Awards, 2 p.m.

• Kids games and inflatables, including an 18-foot water slide, bounce house, and more, 1-5 p.m.

• Food Trucks, Kona Ice, Bake Sale, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• 8:30am, 10am, Community Worship Services will be at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11:30 a.m., and prizes will be given away at all services
