ALCONY — Doris June Beeson, age 101, of Alcony passed away on Friday evening, February 19, 2021. The oldest of 4, she was born in Butler Township of Montgomery Co. on June 5, 1919 to Torrence & Luella Lesher.

Lisa Ann Krug; it is with great sadness that Lisa’s family is announcing her passing. Lisa passed away Thursday, February 19th unexpectedly at the age of 58. She was born November 30th, 1962 in West Palm Beach, Florida to Bill and Greta (Hosley) Scherer.

NEWPORT, TN — Sonja Jo (Donohoe) Ashburn, 56, of Newport, TN, formerly of Piqua, OH and Chillicothe, OH, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 14, 2021, at 7:25pm surrounded by her family.

PIQUA — Bettie Ruth Cool, age 98 of Piqua and formerly of Troy, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Piqua Manor. She was born on February 16, 1923 in Bradford, OH to the late Daniel and Myrtle (Greer) Davis.

BRADFORD — Ted Risner, 71, of Bradford, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 19, 1950 in Kentucky to parents, William & Fannie Mae (Johnson) Risner. He grew up at Bethany Children’s Home.

PIQUA — Kimberly D. Hoffman, age 61, of Piqua, OH passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua. The family will receive friends from 11-1 at the funeral home.

BRADFORD — Robert “Bob” J. Reck, age 83 of Bradford, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his home with family.

TROY — Arthur L. Marshall, age 82, of Troy, formerly of Pleasant Hill, passed from this life at home with family bedside him to his eternal home on February 16, 2021. Art was born September 7, 1938 in a farmhouse in Newton Township in Miami County, Ohio to the late Cletus and Ruby (Jacobson) Marshall.

TROY — Susan Anne Lentz Fogt, age 73 of Troy, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born June 18, 1947 in Dayton to the late Harvey S. and Opal Margarie (Idle) Lentz.

PIQUA — Bettie R. Cool age 98 of Piqua, formerly of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Piqua Manor. Services are pending at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
