COVINGTON — John A. Rue, 85, of Covington, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Ohio’s Hospice Inpatient Unit, Troy. Private services are being provided to his family through Moore Funeral Home, Covington.

TROY — Lula Jean (Mays) Wong, age 75 of Troy, passed away after a long illness and valiant fight on February 3, 2021, at Upper Valley Medical Center. Jean was born in Elias, Kentucky and was preceded in death by her parents Farris and Mary Isabell (Ambrose) Mays and sister Wanita Davidson.

TROY — Helen Pearl (Caplinger) Smith, age 73 of Troy, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born in Chillicothe, OH on February 20, 1948 to the late Paul and Eunice (Broughton) Caplinger.

KENTON — Allen P. Hughes, age 78, of rural Kenton, passed away on Sunday afternoon, February 21, 2021, at Marion General Hospital.

NEW CARLISLE — Jack Orth, age 77, of New Carlisle, went home to be with the Lord February 21, 2021.

TROY — Winona Hackworth, age 78, of Troy, OH passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at her residence. She was born on January 29, 1943 in Sidney, OH to the late Jefferson and Mabel (Davis) Hovis.

PIQUA — Linda Kay Burch, 67 of Piqua passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 20th, 2021. She was born Aug. 28th 1953 to the late James and Clara Foster.

ST. PARIS — Richard Brecount, 88, of St. Paris, OH passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.

WEST MILTON — David Alan Emrick, age 78, of West Milton, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1942 to the late Robert Leo & Patricia Ann (Bull) Emrick in Abbottsville, Ohio.

TROY — Winona Hackworth, age 78, of Troy, OH passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at her residence. Private graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH. Arrangements are under the direction of Baird Funeral Home.
