Piqua city offices closed, commission meeting rescheduled due to weather

PIQUA—The city of Piqua announced that due to the severe storms anticipated in the area Tuesday afternoon and evening, the Piqua Municipal Government Complex is closing early and the Piqua City Commission meeting scheduled for this evening has been rescheduled.

No additional testing of IOOF Building required

TROY — The Miami County Building Department has determined no additional testing of the IOOF Building/old Miami County courthouse, also formerly known as the Tavern Building, will be required.

Eclipse 1 week away, free glasses still available

The Visitors Bureau, located at 405 Public Square, Suite 272, Troy, still has free eclipse glasses available.
