Wreaths Across America participates in three-day historic event

WASHINGTON D.C. — Wreaths Across America (WAA) is proud to announce participation in a historic three-day event taking place in Washington D.C., May 11-13, on the National Mall, as part of the 50th anniversary of The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration (VWC). The VWC will be hosting a multi-location event: “Welcome Home! A Nation Honors our Vietnam Veterans and Their Families.” This interactive, immersive experience will feature over 90 participating organizations, and is open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to come to this generational learning opportunity with their family.

Miami East student places third at state Livestock Evaluation

CASSTOWN — On Friday, April 28, a Miami East-MVCTC FFA General Livestock Evaluation Team member competed in the Ohio FFA State Finals Livestock Evaluation Career Development Event. The competition was held at the livestock farm of The Ohio State University.

CASSTOWN — The May 2023 Miami East-MVCTC FFA Members of the Month are Isaac Beal, Luke Brunke, Adi Richter and Kendal Staley. They are all retired chapter officers and will soon be graduates of Miami East High School. They have all been four year active members of the chapter.

King candidates are, Bryson Roberts, left to right, Nathan Buecker, Brady Ouhl, Trenton Rudd, Ethyn Wright, Mason Swallow, Sam Schmiesing, and Anson Cox. Piqua’s prom will be held at Romer’s Catering at A Learning Place on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

OneOhio Region 15 to create regional application forum
