DAYTON — Community Blood Center is calling on the community to support the blood supply by donating at the Dayton CBC Donation Center. There is an immediate need for multiple blood types due to high usage during the holiday weekend, no collections on July 4 and the limited number of community blood drives scheduled during the holiday week.

ODOD, Miami Co. CAC offer Summer Crisis Program assistance

TROY — The Ohio Department of Development and Miami County Community Action Council (CAC) will help income-eligible Ohioans stay cool during the hot summer months. The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program provides eligible Ohioans assistance paying an electric bill or assistance paying for central air conditioning repairs. The program runs from July 1 - Sept. 30, 2023.
