True Life services, in person or online

TROY – Join True Life Community Church this Sunday for the January sermon series, “In God We Trust.” All can trust in the One who holds the future of 2021 in His hands.

The community is always welcome; TLC will open its doors this Sunday with its worship service starting at 10 a.m. Masks are now mandatory in Ohio and must be worn indoors. You can also live stream this service on Facebook.

First Lutheran services

TROY — First Lutheran Church of Troy is back to public worship and invites the community to weekly worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m.

AA-Open Group will be held at 6 a.m. on Mondays, and AA- Men’s Group will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.

God’s Table announces monthly meal

PIQUA — God’s Table will be serving ham and bean soup, cornbread, fruit and a cookie on Saturday, Jan. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Piqua. Due to the virus, the church is continuing to serve through the church parking lot, entering from Caldwell St.

God’s Table is a free of charge lunch served on the third Saturday of each month.

Preschool spots open

FLETCHER — Fletcher United Methodist Church has a few morning and afternoon spots left for preschool ages 3-5 years old.

Main Street Preschool registration opens

TIPP CITY — Main Street Preschool would like to notify the community that registration for the 2021-2022 school year begins on Jan. 11 at 7 a.m. Those interested may register their child online at or stop in at Tipp City United Methodist Church, located at 8 W. Main Street, between the hours of 9:30 a.m and 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Parents can pick up a registration form located at the Welcome Desk in the church gathering area.

A virtual tour of the preschool will be available on the website soon, in order to allow families the opportunity to see the school while respecting gathering numbers and limiting the amount of guests in the school at any given time.
