TROY — Bruns General Contracting has been contracted by Haworth Enterprises owners Eric and Norma Polansky of Tipp City, to tear down the Haworth Building, 1615 Haworth Court, which formerly housed a pool hall and a gentleman’s club called Total Xposure, which was forced closed in 2003.

According to Tyler Bruns of Bruns General Contracting, Bruns General Contracting will demolish the building and then prepare the land for redevelopment. Bruns Realty Group also will be selling the property.

Bruns representatives also said on Tuesday that a large portion of the materials from the demolition process will be recycled and reused. Steel beams will be melted down to re-use. Stone, concrete, and other aggregates will be pulverized and re-used as well.
