To the Editor:
Another jab was taken at Richard Nixon in David Lindeman’s column on Sunday, Dec. 6. Why is it when Nixon is mentioned that all we ever hear is the negatives? Why are his many accomplishment’s ignored? His landslide win in his last election testifies to his popularity, although his opponent a poor pick. He normalized relations with China and had been one of our better presidents. Even the Watergate fiasco has been rumored to be started by information leaked by unknown sources, that the Democrat candidate, or his people were in contact with soviet agents. the break-in, followed by trial by the News Media, and Nixon’s refusal to let others take the blame for him, brought about his resignation.
