True Life services, in person or online

TROY –Join True Life Community Church for the November sermon series, “Thoughtfully Thankful.” We will discover God’s truth and how to be thoughtfully thankful in all of life.

Please join the church for the next First Wednesday gathering on Dec. 2 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the TLC campus for a time of worship, testimony and encouragement.

The church is collecting children and senior gifts for Partners In Hope 2020 Christmas Shop.

The community is always welcome; TLC will open its doors this Sunday with its worship service starting at 10 a.m. Masks are now mandatory in Ohio and must be worn indoors. You can also live stream this service on Facebook.

TROY — First Lutheran Church of Troy is back to public worship and invites the community to weekly worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m.

God’s Table Thanksgiving Dinner planned

PIQUA — TK’S BBQ-N-FIXINS will be serving their annual Thanksgiving Feast at God’s Table on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 325 W. Ash St. in Piqua.

For the sake of staying as safe as possible, meals will be handed out to drive-up customers and walk-ups in the church parking lot. Those interested in getting meals are asked to please enter the parking lot off of Caldwell. God’s Table is a free-of-charge lunch served the third Saturday of each month.

Community Thanksgiving Dinner planned

COVINGTON — The Covington Eagles and Fields of Grace Worship Center will host a free Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Covington Eagles Hall.

Outside pick-up will be at the Debra Street entrance to the Eagles hall. No dine-in options will be available.

The meal will consist of turkey, homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, homemade dressing, homemade noodles, green beans, a dinner roll, and pumpkin pie.

Home deliveries will be made to surrounding communities within a 10-mile radius. Home deliveries can be reserved by calling Fields of Grace at 937-573-4282, Tuesday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Thursday, Nov. 19. No calls will be taken the day of the meal.

Cabbage Roll and Bread Sale

PIQUA — St. Boniface Parish is taking orders through Nov. 16 for its Oktoberfest cabbage rolls and heritage breads. The home-made, pork cabbage rolls — oven/freezer ready — can be purchased in pans of 1 to 12 cabbage rolls; all sizes include a sauerkraut/tomato mixture and baking directions.

Fifteen-plus different breads made from the parish’s Heritage Festival Bread Booth recipes are available as well. To obtain an order form, place an order, or for more info email or contact the parish office, 310 S. Downing St., at 937-773-1656.

Order pick-up is Saturday, Nov. 21 from noon to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Caserta Activity Center, 218 S. Downing St. Proceeds from the sale benefit the parish’s Family Life Group.
