Oct. 20

Complainant advised subject spray painted side of garage at 604 Second St.

Oct. 21

THEFT: Complainant advised subject took her car keys and phone and damaged the side of her vehicle. Logan Dorman, 22, of Piqua, was subsequently arrested and charged with criminal damaging/endangering and theft.

THEFT: Robert Parker, 33, of Sidney, was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart.

WARRANT: Refused caller reported a male and female arguing. Male was found to have a warrant out of Clark County. Alan Rife, 59, was arrested and transported to the Miami County Jail.

Oct. 22

D.U.I.: Officers responded to the call of a welfare check. A female called 911 and reported that her brother was intoxicated and was driving them around the city. The vehicle was located near Speedway on Covington Avenue, and Frank Cottrill, 51, of Piqua, was subsequently arrested and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

WARRANT: Officer was dispatched on the report of two subjects asking for money at a laundromat near Wood and Wayne streets. One of the subjects, Mary Moyer, 37, of Piqua, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

THEFT: Officer was dispatched to 109 Janet Drive on the report of the theft of a radio from a vehicle. Investigation is pending.

MENACING: Report of paper with racial slurs being left on a door of a residence at Terrace Creek Apartments. No current suspects.

MENACING: Complainant advised there was water at her front door at Terrace Creek Apartments. She also noticed someone taped a hateful message to her on her door.
