VANDALIA — The Tippecanoe volleyball team finished the regular season undefeated with a sweep on the road Monday night, improving to 18-0 with a 25-13, 25-17, 25-20 sweep of Butler.
Corinn Siefring led the Red Devils with 12 kills, 12 digs and a block, Ashley Aselage had eight kills and a block, Kaitlyn Husic had eight kills, 11 digs and three aces, Rachel Wildermuth had four kills, two blocks, 23 assists and two aces, Olivia Gustavson had two blocks, Alaina Titley had 20 digs and two assists and Hannah Wildermuth had 11 assists.
Tippecanoe will now play in a Miami Valley League tournament to warm up for the postseason, hosting a match on Thursday with the opponent still to be determined.
COVINGTON — The Covington Buccaneers cruised to a convincing non-league victory Monday night, sweeping visiting Northridge 25-5, 25-12, 25-13 to improve to 9-7 on the season.
Emmaline Kiser had nine kills, a block and a dig, Nigella Reck had eight kills, five digs, three aces and an assist, Carlie Besecker had eight kills, four digs and two aces and Lauren York had six kills, for digs and one ace to lead the Bucc offense. Ellery Reck had 25 assists, five digs, a kill and an ace, Hillary Hoying had eight digs, three aces and a kill, Alyssa Kimmel had five digs, a kill, an assist and an ace, Claire Fraley had two blocks, a kill and an assist, Bethany Weldy had two digs, a kill and an assist, Destina Wills had five digs and an ace and Victoria Grabman had a dig.
After a road matchup at Twin Valley South Tuesday, Covington hosts Jackson Center Thursday.

TROY — The Troy girls soccer team’s five-game winning streak came to an end Monday night at Troy Memorial Stadium as the Trojans and Fairborn Skyhawks battled to a 2-2 draw.
Chamber Browning and Eva Raskay both scored a goal and Leah Harnish had an assist for the Trojans, who outshot the Skyhawks 10-4 on the night.
It was the second time the two teams tied 2-2 — Troy (8-3-2) and Fairborn (7-4-2) fought to the same result back on Sept. 2.
Troy travels to Butler Wednesday.

WEST ALEXANDRIA — Milton-Union dropped its second straight Monday, falling 2-1 at Twin Valley South.
Ava Berberich scored on an assist from Aulbrey Hergenrather for the Bulldogs (5-8-1), who travel to Madison on Oct. 13.

WEST ALEXANDRIA — Mason Grudich had his hand in all three Milton-Union goals Monday night as the Bulldog boys soccer team (10-1-1) defeated Twin Valley South 3-1 on the road.
Grudich had two goals and an assist and Carson Brown scored the other goal for the Bulldogs, who host Miami East Saturday after hosting Eaton Tuesday night.
