Troy Police Department reports

Information filed by the Troy Police Department:

Sept. 18

SCHOOL BUS: A male subject was cited for failing to stop for a school bus in the area of East Franklin Street and South Frank Street.

THEFT: Walmart reported a theft from the day before.

TRESPASS: Jonathon Crago, 31, at-large, was charged with criminal trespass.

Sept. 19

ROAD RAGE: A road rage report was near McDonald’s. No report was filed.

BURGLARY: A burglary report was filed in the 600 block of Franklin Street.

THEFT: A theft report was filed at Walmart.

THEFT: A vehicle was broken into overnight. Tools were stolen from the area of Troy Village Beverage Dock.

Sept. 20

DISORDERLY: A male subject reported he was assaulted by another adult. The reporting party was irate and ended up being incarcerated on disorderly conduct. Brandon Heffelfinger, 26, of Troy, was charged with disorderly conduct.

ASSAULT: An assault complaint was filed in the 200 block of Elmwood Avenue. Jesse Mercado, 32, of Troy, was charged with assault.

UNDERAGE: Alex Brown, 20, of Xenia, was charged with open container and underage consumption at the Main Street Wendy’s.

Sept. 21

ASSAULT: Billy Scarberry, 34, of Piqua, was charged with assault.

ASSAULT: Brandon Price, 26, of Piqua, was charged with second-degree felony assault.

SCAM: A resident in Yuma, Ariz. reported a Facebook scam from a Troy resident. The subject was requesting gift cards to be sent and money would be sent in return. Investigation pending.

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Heather Ison, 30, of Troy, was charged with criminal damaging and disorderly conduct.

Sept. 22

POSSESSION: Eric Iddings, 28, of Minster, was charged with possession of controlled substances.

SCHOOL BUS: A driver ran a school bus stop sign at Neff Lane and South Stanfield.

SRO: A Troy Police Department School Resource Officer Chris Tilley located a missing high school student who walked out of the building. Charges pending.

FRAUD: Misuse of a credit card was reported by a Chicago resident in the 1300 block of Wayne Street.

THEFT: Theft of medication and a disability check was reported in the 500 block of Madison Street.

HOMELESS ISSUE: An officer located a homeless individual sleeping on Prouty Plaza. The subject was advised of the city ordinances and to move on.

Sept. 23

OVI: An officer arrested Jason Nation, 46, of Sidney, in the area of Archer Drive for OVI. Suspected drugs were located and sent to the lab for analysis.

THEFT: An officer responded to the Littlejohn Road on a theft complaint.

THEFT: Theft was reported at the 700 West Market Street Dollar General. Casey Hughes, 38, of Sidney, was arrested for theft and a Shelby County warrant.

OVI: A reckless complaint was called and the officer made a stop on West Market Street. Raymond Nicodemus, 34, of Troy, was charged with OVI and OVI refusal with prior conviction.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A criminal damage report was made on Red Cedar Drive.
