Trinity Fall Rummage Sale

TROY — Trinity Episcopal Church, 60 So Dorset Road, will hold their Fall Rummage Sale on Oct. 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside (weather permitting) on the north side of the church. Coats and clothes, christmas decorations, household items, kitchen items and more will available to buy.

True Life services, in person or online

TROY – Join True Life Community Church for the September sermon series, “Stand in a Life of Faith.” Learn about the life of Daniel as he stood for God.

The community is always welcome; TLC will open its doors this Sunday with its worship service starting at 10 a.m. Masks are now mandatory in Ohio and must be worn indoors. You can also live stream this service on Facebook.

First Lutheran services

TROY — First Lutheran Church of Troy is back to public worship and invites the community to weekly worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. a gospel campfire outdoor service will be held. All are welcome to bring a lawn chair, as they are gathering around the cross singing good old gospel songs, sharing stories of faith, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows around the fire pit and have a good time.

They are applying the rules of social distancing, including wearing masks, sanitizing, and spacing between the seats.

AA-Open Group will be held at 6 a.m. on Mondays, and AA- Men’s Group will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.

Hot dog meal, grand opening set

PIQUA — Heart of Worship Ministries will offer “Dogs in the Den,” a free hot dog meal, at noon Saturday, Sept. 12 at 505 N. Main St., in downtown Piqua.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting also will be offered at Heart of Worship Ministries, 505 N. Main St., on Sunday, Sept. 13. A morning service will be at 11 a.m. and an afternoon service at 2 p.m.

Salad Luncheon planned

COVINGTON — The Covington Christian Church Women’s Fellowship salad luncheon drive through will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at 115 N Pearl St. Covington.

Enter the drive through in the alley off of Pearl Street next to Covington Christian Church and organizers will deliver two containers full of the more popular salads, including their signature hot chicken salad and desserts to your car for a donation. All meals will be pre-packaged and ready for pick up. No special requests will be taken at this time and supplies will be limited.

Pre-order and leave your donation during office hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
