MIAMI COUNTY — A 94-year-old female from a long-term care facility is the 39th COVID-19 recorded in Miami County, according to Miami County Public Health.

As of Wednesday, according to the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) there are 868 total cases reported in the county, 87 total hospitalizations and 39 total deaths. There are 660 presumed recovered residents in Miami County.

Total reported cases are broken down as 549 confirmed:

• Long-term care: 164 — 80 confirmed 84 probable

• Healthcare workers: 136 — 90 confirmed 46 probable

• Community spread: 473 — 424 confirmed 49 probable

In Ohio, there are 104,248 total cases and 3,734 total cases. There have been 11,901 hospitalizations with 2,721 of them ICU admissions.

The age range for those with coronavirus in Ohio are from under age 1 to 109 years of age and the median age is 42. Males make up 48 percent of the total cases, while females make up 51 percent of the cases, with 1 percent not reported.
