Vets Museum to host Rep. Davidson

TROY — The Miami Valley Veterans Museum will host Rep. Warren Davidson at its breakfast event on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 9 a.m.

Breakfast will be prepared by the Daughters of the American Revolution, and will be served at the museum’s new location on 25A, just north of the driving range, at 2245 S. County Road 25A.

Born and raised in Sidney, U.S. Congressman Warren Davidson enlisted in the Army after high school and went on to earn an appointment to West Point, according to a press release from the MVVM.

Davidson served in the Old Guard, the 75th Ranger Regiment, and the 101st Airborne Division before returning to Ohio to help with his father’s manufacturing business.

Davidson earned an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, and has been married to his wife, Lisa, for over 20 years. Together they have two children.

Davidson is the former chairman of the Dayton Region Manufacturers Association (DRMA). In 2016, he won a special election to fill the remainder of the term of outgoing U.S. Rep. John Boehner. He was re-elected to his first full term in November of 2016, and today sits on the House Financial Services Committee.
