St. John’s UCC services

True Life services, in person or online

TROY – Join True Life Community Church for the August sermon series, “Urban Legends,” about “the danger in our relationships, behaviors, and thoughts.”

The community is always welcome; TLC will open its doors this Sunday with their worship service starting at 10 a.m. Masks are now mandatory in Ohio and must be worn indoors. You can also live stream this service on Facebook. The public is invited to join as they stand together in worship.

First Lutheran services

TROY — First Lutheran Church of Troy is back to public worship and invites the community to weekly worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m.

They are applying the rules of social distancing, including wearing masks, sanitizing, and spacing between the seats.

AA-Open Group will be held at 6 a.m. on Mondays, and AA- Men’s Group will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.

Meals offered

PIQUA — Heart of Worship Outreach Ministries is offering free hot dogs in the park again this summer. Meals will include: hot dog, chips, and a drink. They will be at Pitsenbarger Park and Sports Complex by the pool and ball diamonds from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 8 and Sept. 12.
