Friends and Family Day set

TROY — The Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, 1624 N. County Road 25-A, Troy, will offer Friends and Family Day at noon on Sunday, July 26.

Mothers and fathers will be recognized and the public is invited to attend.

Feast of St. James celebration planned

PIQUA — Please join St. James Episcopal Church in celebrating the Feast of St. James on Saturday, July 25, at 10 a.m. There will be a Children’s El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage around the church grounds (sort of like a treasure hunt, but not really) and ice cream for all. St. James is located at 200 High St. in Piqua.

True Life services, in person or online

TROY – Join True Life Community Church for the July sermon series: “Toxic: Thoughts, Influences, Relationships, and Words.”

The community is always welcome; TLC will open its doors this Sunday with its worship service starting at 10 a.m. You can also live stream this service on Facebook. The public is invited to join in.

First Lutheran services

TROY — First Lutheran Church of Troy is back to public worship and invites the community to weekly worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m.

All are welcome. Guest Organist is David Berger. Nicole Reese serves as lector for the month of July. Pastor Holst presides and preaches on the Gospel of Matthew the 13th Chapter.

They are applying the rules of social distancing, including wearing masks, sanitizing, and spacing between the seats.

AA-Open Group will be held at 6 a.m. on Mondays, and AA- Men’s Group will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
