July 5

OPEN CONTAINER: Bryon Jones, 35, of Piqua, was charged with open container.

July 6

ASSAULT: William Sparks, 22, of Troy, was charged with assault.

July 8

CHILD ABUSE: A report of a child left in a vehicle unattended was investigated by a deputy in Ludlow Falls.

WARRANT: A deputy initiated a traffic stop at the listed address for a warrant for the registered owner. In further investigation, the driver was arrested for a probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to reinstate.

THEFT: Deputies responded to the 3600 block of Iddings Road, Union Twp. address in reference to a theft of a washer and dryer. Victim stated a male tenant move out of the residence and took the washer and dryer.

MAIL BOX MISSING: A resident in the 7000 block of Winding Way, Monroe Twp. reported a mail box was missing.

July 9

THEFT: A theft report was filed in the 6900 block of Thomas Road, Newton Twp.

ASSIST AGENCY: A detective assisted Darke County Sheriff’s Office in regards to a missing 17 year old from their jurisdiction. The Springcreek Twp. homeowner provided verbal consent to search the residence, in which the juvenile was not located. Documented for information purposes only.

July 10

TRESPASSING: A deputy responded to the listed location in reference to a burglary complaint. After investigation, a male was charged with trespassing in a habitation in the 600 block of North Rangeline Road, Pleasant Hill.
