PIQUA — The Piqua boys basketball team bounced back from a season-opening loss to Butler in a big way Friday night, pulling away in the second half for a 56-44 win over Sidney in MVL action.

TROY — The Troy boys basketball trailed much of the game Friday night with West Carrollton.

CENTERVILLE — The Troy boys bowling team dropped a match to Miamisburg 2,448-2,234 Thursday at Poelking South Lanes.

COVINGTON — In an early season matchup of the two teams that shared the TRC title a year ago, Bethel used a 23-1 run in the middle of the game to open a big lead and defeat Covington 62-42.
